We refer to Master students in finance or economics, who are curious to work part-time next to their studies. You will get the chance to work in close cooperation with one of our dealmakers and support him with his business development activities. Job Description

As a Business Development Analyst (BDA), your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Research – Market and industry analyses
  • Peer-Group/Company Valuations
  • Pitch books presentations within specific industry sectors
  • Business Development Support (structuring and organisation of focussed company approaches, direct sales calls to relevant target companies, call and meeting organisation with company owners/CEOs, meeting preparation/follow-up, call/meeting participation)
  • Preparation for and participation at trade fairs

Preferred Candidate

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or equivalent with study exchange abroad and ongoing Master studies in finance, economics or equivalent
  • Work Experience – Previous internship experience in a finance related environment desirable and profound knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Personal Skills – Ambitious high-achiever with structured and analytical thinking, service-provider mentality as well as a flexible and curious mind-set and passion for a high-pressure environment
  • Language Skills – German (native speaking level) and English (excellent writing and speaking skills). Additional language skills are beneficial.

Job Description:

As an Manager, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Execution – helping our clients, including mid-market as well as global companies, shareholders and financial investors achieve their strategic and financial objectives, with particular focus driving the swift and precise execution of Europe wide M&A transaction processes across various industries
  • Origination – marketing our services and supporting efforts in developing and executing business development activities
  • Relationship – leading dialogues with senior management, stakeholders and investors and develop relationships with clients worldwide
  • Leadership – providing guidance and assistance to junior team members in the preparation of client presentations and financial analyses and contribute to their ongoing development

Preferred Candidate:

  • Education – Excellent academic credentials (Master’s Degree) from a top university with demonstrated quantitative skills and a well-developed knowledge of financial concepts and accounting
  • Work Experience – Significant execution and origination Investment Banking experience across all products (minimum 4-5 years) – ideally in the bulge bracket AND boutique or BIG 4 environment experience is a plus
  • Personal Skills – Pro-active mind-set to drive projects and transactions autonomously, reasoned, structured and analytical thinking combined with the ability to sell, strong financial acumen and quick understanding of complex topics, entrepreneurial passion, hard-working and rigorous eye for details, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Language Skills – German (native speaking level is a MUST) and English (excellent writing and speaking skills). A third language is also desirable.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Education – Excellent academic credentials (Master’s Degree) from a top university with demonstrated quantitative skills and a well-developed knowledge of financial concepts and accounting incl. strong Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Work Experience – Previous M&A/Corporate Finance (min. internship) experience at a bulge bracket investment bank, leading M&A boutique, BIG four accounting firm, strategy consultancy or in the corporate strategy department of a leading global player is a MUST
